In 2018 a piano needed to be saved from going to the dump, so together with a friend we built

THE PARK OPERA

Inhabiting a previously empty little spot along the Ärstaviken promenade, it was both a guerilla gift to the public space and an experiment, seeing how long a piano could be left unsurveilled without being absolutely trashed, or being taken away by authorities. 

Although the piano is quite out of tune the installation still stands strong and has over the years rooted itself as a part of Stockholm, used for parties, holiday celebrations, blog posts, fashion shoots, a music video and who knows what else?
